PINK HAIR AFFAIR
brings you a movement filled night on women’s acceptance – what’s expected of them or what they choose.
Philadelphia, PA – Kaleigh Jones’ showcases her choreography for Pink Hair Affair’s “Let The Night Be Dark”. A show based on women’s acceptance. What is expected of us? Why do we do what we do? Should we settle for what we’re comfortable with, what we think we should do? Or should we prove to ourselves and others that we can do more? In this 45-minute length piece, Kaleigh Jones’ and dancers express love, hate, passion and angst while depicting the journey of self-discovery. “Let The Night Be Dark” is a show on finding your inner beauty and sexuality, your inner peace and center. Pink Hair Affair gets in touch with their more serious side and dance about being strong, powerful, independent women. Only two nights, be sure to check out the technical side of Pink Hair Affair members. Under the new direction of Laura Jenkins, Pink Hair Affair is continuing to forge a fresh new vision of dance – one show at a time. So what do these women end on accepting? What’s expected of them, or what they want? Come find out.
